Topic: The Dragon Is After You!

Devotional Thought

One funny thing about life is that nobody tries to steal an empty bag. A thief does not break into a house to steal cobwebs. Even mosquitoes prefer a healthy person to a skeleton! In the same way, Satan does not waste his time attacking empty destinies.

The dragon in Revelation was not interested in the woman. He was interested in what she was carrying.

The devil knows something many Christians forget: every child of God is pregnant with divine possibilities. You may not be carrying a physical baby, but you are carrying dreams, visions, gifts, ideas, callings, ministries, testimonies, and breakthroughs.

That is why the moment you decide to pray seriously, distractions suddenly multiply. Your phone becomes more interesting than ever. Sleep that refused to visit you all day suddenly arrives wearing a three-piece suit the moment you open your Bible!

Have you noticed that when you want to gossip, there is no network problem, but when you want to join an online prayer meeting, your internet begins to behave like a stubborn donkey? The dragon is still at work!

The enemy is not fighting your present condition; he is fighting your future manifestation. He is not afraid of who you are today but of who you may become tomorrow under God's grace.

Joseph was carrying leadership. David was carrying kingship. Esther was carrying deliverance. Peter was carrying revival. Paul was carrying the Gospel to nations.

Before their "baby" was born, battles appeared.

Many believers spend their lives complaining about warfare without realizing that warfare is often evidence that heaven has deposited something valuable inside them.

A farmer does not fence an empty field. Banks do not hire armed guards to protect old newspapers. Valuable things attract attention.

The good news is that the dragon in Revelation did not win. The child survived. God's purpose prevailed.

Your breakthrough may be delayed, but it cannot be destroyed if you remain connected to God.

Your testimony may be under attack, but it is not abandoned.

Your calling may be challenged, but it is not cancelled.

The dragon may roar, but God still rules!

So stop crying because of every opposition. Sometimes opposition is simply heaven's announcement that something great is about to be born in your life.

Points to Ponder

1. Every divine assignment attracts opposition.

2. The size of the battle often reveals the value of the blessing.

3. Satan attacks potential because he fears manifestation.

4. God's protection is greater than the enemy's plans.

5. Your spiritual "baby" must not be aborted through fear, laziness, or unbelief.

Prayer Points

1. Father, preserve every good thing You have planted in my life in Jesus' name.

2. Every dragon assigned against my destiny, be disappointed in Jesus' name.

3. Lord, give me strength to carry my divine assignment to fulfillment.

4. Every spirit of fear and discouragement, lose your hold over my life.

5. O God, let every promise You have given me come to full manifestation.

Thought for the Day

When the devil fights your future, it is usually because he has already seen what God is about to do with it.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for the glorious destiny You have prepared for me. Help me to protect the gifts, dreams, and assignments You have placed in my life. Let every good thing You have conceived in me come to full manifestation, and let no dragon of darkness prevail against Your purpose for my life. Amen.
